Remote Control Earthquake Switch
Alpha Sales has developed a homeowner and industrial seismic
switch. Home owner version is an alarm and switch, compatible with the
ADT market as an add on feature to home owner security. This ASCE 25-97
switch triggers an alarm for the occupant, and may be programmed to turn
off power, turn on battery emergency lights, turn on backup equipment,
open doors, etc.
Industrial Seismic Cutoff Switch
For industrial use this switch
can be programmed to have motors shut off pipelines, start emergency
generators, turn off critical equipment to avoid spills or damaged products.
The Little Firefighter valve is used as a trigger switch for a seismic
event of 5.4+. A proximity switch with its own battery and RF is attached
to the valve in a nylon screw on compartment.
